Set date-range pricing rules in Rates & Rules to automatically override your base nightly rate for specific periods — holidays, peak season, school breaks, or any custom window. You can also set a minimum stay per rule. On top of that, configure a weekend premium percentage to automatically add a surcharge to every Friday and Saturday night. Both are applied together: a Friday night in peak season gets the seasonal rate plus the weekend uplift. Guests booking through your Direct Booking Site see a full per-night breakdown showing exactly how each night is priced. Manual bookings auto-suggest a total using the same rules.
Create professional invoices and send them directly to guests via email. Guests pay through a secure portal using credit card or ACH bank transfer via Stripe. You can set up automatic reminders for unpaid invoices so you never have to chase payments manually. Enable "Track my cost" when creating an invoice to log your vendor cost as an expense and see your markup. Void sent or overdue invoices when needed, and track whether each payment came through Stripe or was received offline (cash, check, wire).

Yes. Pro plans include team sharing. Add staff members on the Staff page, then click "Invite to HostMoat" to send them an invitation with role-based access (viewer or manager). Managers can create, edit, and delete property data. Viewers have read-only access. You can also configure per-staff email notifications — 11 types including new bookings, booking cancellations, turnovers, form submissions, inventory alerts, upsell requests, and portal messages.
Add your cleaners on the Staff page and share their no-login portal link. They see their assigned turnovers, checkout/checkin details, and can upload photo checklists from their phone. Turnovers are managed from the Turnovers tab on the Staff page.
Watchtower drafts replies to guest inquiries and inbox messages so you can review, edit, and send in one click instead of writing from scratch. Pro plans get the built-in engine — zero setup, no API key needed. On the free Starter plan you can bring your own OpenAI or Claude key. Configure tone, custom notes, and an optional auto-draft-on-inquiry toggle per property; drafts pull live context from your property details, guidebook sections, and direct booking site so they answer questions specific to your rental.
Set up email templates that fire automatically based on booking dates — for example, send pre-arrival details 2 days before check-in, a checkout reminder the morning of departure, or a review request 1 day after checkout. Each template has a trigger type and timing you configure. Booking confirmations can be sent instantly when a new booking is created.
