One line of HTML to embed
Copy the embed snippet from HostMoat settings and paste it into any page. The widget handles all the rendering — nothing else to configure.
Auto-updates from your calendar
Booked dates are blocked in real time based on your HostMoat calendar. No manual updates, no stale availability showing to visitors.
Color-coded availability
Available, booked, and minimum-stay-blocked dates display in distinct colors. Guests can see at a glance when the property is free.
Optional nightly price display
Toggle 'Show nightly prices' to display per-night rates on each available day. Prices reflect your base rate, seasonal rules, and weekend premium — so guests see exactly what they'll pay before inquiring.
How it works
Copy the embed code
Open the Booking Widget settings page in HostMoat and copy the generated iframe embed snippet for your property.

Paste into your site
Drop the snippet into an HTML block in Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, or any site that accepts raw HTML. The widget appears immediately.

Availability stays live
The widget reflects your HostMoat calendar in real time. New bookings on any platform block dates within minutes — no maintenance required.

Styling and color customization
The default widget uses a neutral color scheme that fits most sites, but you can override everything. Pass color values as query-string parameters on the embed URL or inject CSS variable overrides in your site's stylesheet. Change the available-date color, the booked-date background, the border radius, the font — anything that matters for your brand.

Optional inline inquiry form
Turn on the inquiry form option and the widget includes a contact form below the calendar. Visitors fill in their name, email, requested dates, and a message — the inquiry lands in your HostMoat inbox and can trigger the auto-responder. Useful if you want to capture leads on your personal site without sending people to a separate booking page.

Frequently asked
Is the widget iframe-based?
Yes. It's a self-contained iframe, so it won't conflict with your site's CSS or JavaScript regardless of which platform you're on.
Can I customize the colors?
Yes. Pass color values as query-string parameters on the embed URL, or override CSS variables in your site's stylesheet.
Can I show prices on the calendar?
Yes. Toggle 'Show nightly prices' in the Booking Widget configurator and each available day will display its nightly rate, including seasonal pricing rules and weekend premiums.
Can I link the widget to my direct booking site?
Yes. If your property has an active Booking Site with a slug, enable the 'Show Book Direct link' checkbox in the widget configurator. A styled 'Book Direct' button appears at the bottom of the calendar, linking guests to your booking page (slug.hostmoat.com).
Does it work on Squarespace, Wix, and WordPress?
Yes — any platform that lets you paste raw HTML supports the widget. On Squarespace, use an Embed block. On WordPress, use an HTML block or Custom HTML widget.
